Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Employees were climbing and conducting steel tower erection over 25 feet above grade without the use of fall protection. Among feasible means of abatement would be: 1.Have the employees wear fall arrest or fall restraint anytime that they are climbing or conducting steel tower erection. 2.Provide safety nets. Employees climbing and conducting steel tower erection over 25 feet above grade, at the Eola Road jobsite, were exposed to fall hazards. No fall protection was used. NO DOCUMENTATION OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.TION
