Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck by, and/or burned by exploding high pressure steam boiler. a)On site at 100 Sutton Street, Brooklyn, NY. Employees were exposed to being struckby, and/or being burned by an exploding boiler due to failure of the employer to provide the required maintenance and repairs that were recognized by the boiler industry, on or about 6-14-99. One feasible method of abatement would be to use techniques (such as an X-ray, or magna flux) to inspect the integrity of the welds or other repairs as per Part 14 of Title 12 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York (12NYCRR 14)NYCRR
