Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Nip point hazard: Employees used and operated one press machine Komori Lithrone 40, serial number L640 in printing operation and were not trained in how to operate safely the press machine and familiarize with the different components of the machine and specifications of the manufacturer. Pharmagraphics P.R., Inc., Carton area. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is provide training to employees and follow the manufacturer specifications. a)Riesgo de Punto de agarre: Empleados utilizaron y operaron una prensa Komori Lithrone 40, numero serie L640 en operacion de impresor y no fueron adiestrados en como operar la prensa seguramente y familiarizarlos con los diferentes componentes de la maquina y especificaciones del manufacturero. Pharmagraphics P.R., Inc., area de carton. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptable de correccion para este riesgo es proveer adiestramiento a los empleados y seguir las especificaciones del manufacturero.es
