Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At Eugenio Maria de Hostos School, teachers worked in science # 9, health # 10 (b), social studies # 10(a) and spanish # 13(a) rooms. Cracks in the roof and walls due to structural damage in the building attempt the life of employees. Employees were exposed to strikes in the body and psychological stress of working in such conditions. One feasible and acceptable abatement method among others to correct this hazards is discontinuing the use of the classrooms until maintenance or new classrooms are contructed or habilitated. En la Escuela Eugenio Maria de Hostos, maestros trabajaron en los salones de ciencia # 9, salud 10(b), estudios sociales 10(a) y espanol 13(a). Grietas en el techo y paredes debido a fallas estructurales en el edificio que atentan contra la vida de los empleados. Empleados fueron expuestos a golpes en el cuerpo y estres psicologico al trabajar en estas condiciones. Un metodo de correccion factible y aceptable entre otros medios para corregir este riesgo es descontinuar el uso de estos salones hasta que mantenimiento o nuevos salones sean construidos o habilitados.
