Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the administration building in the office were the employees works (operators and the assistant personnel), in Camuy Regional Plant, structural hazards attempts the life and property of the employees. Cracks and fissures in the floor are fall hazards and were observed in the walls and other hazard is the psychological stress of working in such conditions. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct these hazards in the building is to discontinue the use of the office until a study that addresses all hazards in the building by a structural engineer was perform and these hazards were corrected. En el edificio de administracion en la oficina donde trabajan los empleados (operadores y el personal auxiliar), de la Planta Regional en Camuy, riesgos estructurales atentan contra la vida y propiedad de los empleados. Grietas y aberturas en el piso son riesgos de caidas y fueron observadas en las paredes y otros riesgo es el estres psicologico al trabajar en estas condiciones. Entre otros, un metodo factible y aceptable para corregir estos riesgos en el edificio es descontinuar el uso de la oficina hasta que se haga un estudio que senale todos los riesgos en el edificio por un ingeniero estructural y estos riesgos sean corregidos.
