Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At The "Escuela Industrial de Mujeres" in Vega Alta. The employees were
working at
the medical area, it was observed roof filtrations, humidity stains at
roof, walls and
lamps.  When there are hard rains some offices get flooded. The employees
were
exposed to falls and respiratory problems.
One feasible and acceptable abatement method among others to correct this
hazards are:
1.Seal the roof filtrations.
a)En la Escuela Industrial de Mujeres en Vega Alta. Los empleados estaban
trabajando en
el area medica, fue observado filtraciones, habian manchas de humedad en
el techo,
paredes y lamparas. Cuando hay fuertes lluvias algunas oficinas se
inundan.  Los
empleados estan expuestos a riesgos respiratorios y de caidas.
Un metodo factible y aceptable de correccion entre otros para corregir los
riesgos puede
ser:
1- Sellar las filtraciones de techo.

puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
a)At "Escuela Industrial de Mujeres" in Vega Alta.  The employees were
working in the
medical area, with a deficient air conditioning system.  The temperature
at the inspection
day was near 90 degrees. The windows were sealed and there was not natural
ventilation
in there. The employees were exposed to bacterias and viruses.
One feasible and abatement method among others to correct hazards can be:
1- Repair the air conditioning system.
a)En la Escuela Industrial de Mujeres en Vega Alta.  Los empleados estaban
trabajando
en el area medica con un sistema de aire acondicionado deficiente. La
temperatura el dia
de la inspeccion estaba cerca de 90 grados. Las ventanas estaban selladas
y no habia
ventilacion natural adentro. Los empleados estaban expuestos a bacterias y
viruses.
Un metodo factible y aceptable entre otros para corregir los riesgos
pueden ser:
1- Reparar el sistema de aire acondicionado.
