Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Fire hazards: employees were working in areas of a building where boxes of combustible material were stored almost touching the ceiling lights. "Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to store the merchandise 18 inches below the ceiling lights and around lights and post signs with these requirements b)Automobile accident hazard: employees were driving a truck that did not have brake lights, did not have reverse lights, did not have directional lights, did not have road emergency signs and did not have emergency wheel blocks. Red Ford truck, plate H-7054. The truck was used by employees for costumers merchandise delivering. "Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is provide the truck with the missing equipment. c)Automobile accident hazard: employees were driving a truck that did not have a horn, did not have break lights, did not have front directional lights, did not have road emergency signs and did not have emergency wheel blocks. "Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is provide the truck with the missing equipment. a)Riesgos de incendio: empleados estaban trabajando en areas de un edificio donde se almacenaban cajas de material combustible tocando las luces del techo. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptado para corregir este riesgo es almacenar la mercancia 18 pulgadas por debajo y alrededor de las luces del techo y colocar avisos sobre estos requerimientos. b)Riesgos de accidente automovilistico: empleados manejaban un camion que no tenia luces de freno, no tenia luces de reversa, no tenia luces direccionales, no tenia rotulos para casos de emergencia, ni bloques para las gomas. Camionrojo marca Ford, tablilla H-7054. El camion era utilizado por los empleados para entrega de mercancia a clientes. Entre otros metodos un metodo factible y aceptado para corregir el riesgo es equipar al camion con el equipo que le falta. c)Riesgo de accidente automovilistico: empleados manejaban un camion que no tenia bocina, no tenia luces de freno, no tenia luces direccionales al frente, no tenia senales de emergencia para la carretera y no tenia bloques para las gomas. Entre otros metodos, un metodo factible y aceptado para corregir el riesgo es equipar al camion con el equipo que le falta."
