Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: In the Machine Shop - east shop, two steep, one Benwil B 9001017-Model GRO-7 (in the south side) and one Mohawk - model M-413-0117, with serial number 961-4333-22 G-03M (north side) where the safety security bottons were defective. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct the hazard is repair both bottons and tests before use. Hazard: Mechanical Failures. En el Taller de Mecanica - taller este, dos pinos, uno "Benwil" B 90001017-Modelo GRO-7 (lado sur) y otro "Mohawk" - modelo M-413-0117, con numero de serie 961-4333-22 G 03M (lado norte) donde los botones de seguridad estaban defectuoso. Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable es reparar ambos botones y probarlos antes de usarlos. Riesgo: Fallas mecanicas.
