Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a crushing hazard from improperly secured roof trusses being installed: a) 109 Bolmar Street - A worker was pinned and sustained injuries when roof trusses that were being installed over a flat roof collapsed. Observed 07/15/97. ABATEMENT NOTE: One feasible means of abatement would be to install bracing in accordance with HIB-91. NOTE: ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.TION
