Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employmnent and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: Per requirements identified in the American National Standards Institute B56.6b (Safety Standards For Rough Terrain Forklift Trucks) The employer did not insure employee(s) working from a platform attached to the forks of a Sky Track all-terrain forklift were protected from falls of approximately 6 to 8 feet by utilizing personal fall protection equipment. One feasible and acceptable means of compliance is to provide and insure the use of personal fall protection equipment as required by this part. No additional abatement information is required for this item.
