Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: At the establishment: Where the employees do their task. In may 1st and 2nd of 2001 there was painting done during working hours. Where don't used adequate ventilation with employees working. Riesgo: Breathing vapors. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard are don't painting in working hours and used the adequate ventilation. En el establecimiento: Donde los empleados realizan sus tareas. Estuvieron pintando los dias 1 y 2 de mayo de 2001 en horas laborables. Donde no se uso la ventilacion adecuada y habian empleados trabajando. Riesgo: Inalacion de vapores. Entre otros metodos, un metodo accesible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo son pintar en horas no laborables y utilizar ventilacion adecuada.
