Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
At the Jose Calzada Ferrer Second Unit School, at the domestic economy
classroom:
Where the teacher works, were observed leak spots in the roof from which
in rainy days
the water falls into the floor, wetting it.
Among other methods, one feasible and aceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is seal the roof to avoid the leak problems.
Hazard:  Slips and falls.
En la Escuela Segunda Unidad Jose Calzada Ferrer, en el salon de economia
domestica:
Donde la maestra trabaja, se observaron manchas de filtraciones en el
techo de las cuales
cae agua en el piso, mojando el mismo.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo de correccion apropiado y aceptable para
corregir este
riesgo es sellar el techo para evitar los problemas de filtraciones.
