Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were
exposed to:

El patrono no
proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que
puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados
estaban expuestos
a:
In the trucks of Airport Catering Services used to distribute food to the
airplanes in the
LMM Int. Airport, employees servicing the airplanes using the trucks were
exposed to hits by
the truck back door due to the fact that the employer did not have a
maintenance schedule or a
visual inspection program for changing the cables, they waited for the
backdoor support cables
to break in order to change them.  Ammong other methos to correct this
hazard are making a
maintenance schedule or an visual inspection program.
Hazard: Cables break and back door hit the employees.
En los camiones de distribucion de alimentos en los aviones de Airport
Catering
Services
que son usados en el Aeropuerto Int. LMM, los empleados que le dan
servicio a los aviones
usando los camiones estan expuestos a golpes de la puerta trasera del
camion debido al hecho
de que el patrono no tenia un itinerario de mantenimiento o un programa de
inspeccion visual
para cambiar los cables, ellos esperaban a que los cables de soporte de la
compuerta posterior
se rompieran para reemplazarlos.  Entre otros metodos para corregir este
riesgo es hacer un
itinerario de mantenimiento o un programa de inspecciones visuales.
Riesgo:    Cables se rompan y golpeen empleados.
