Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act:  The
employer did not furnish
employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized
hazards that were causing
or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees
were exposed to:
Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico:
El
patrono no proveyo
empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten
causando o que puedan causar
muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban
expuestos a:
Employees exposed to oral transmitted diseases.  At Auto Frenos, at the
workshop area:
Where the employees works doing repairs in the brake system components of
trucks and cars,
was observed that the employer did not provide cone cups, plastic glasses
or other type of
container in which the employees can drink water from the water cooler.
The employees uses
a common cup to drink water.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this
hazard is providing
a cone cup or plastic glass for each employee in which the employees can
drink water.
Empleados expuestos a enfermedades transmitidas oralmente.  En Auto
Frenos, en el area del
taller: Donde los empleados trabajan realizando reparaciones en los
componentes del sistema
de frenos de camiones y autos, se observo que el patrono no proveyo conos,
vasos plasticos u
otro tipo de envase en el cual los empleados puedan tomar agua del
enfriador de agua.  Los
empleados usan un vaso comun para tomar agua.
Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este
riesgo es proveyendo
un cono o vaso plastico para cada empleado en el cual los empleados puedan
tomar agua.
