Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees exposed to the hazard of fall from the excavator arm. At Cidra Excavations, located on Road Pedro Arzuaga Corner Faernandez Juncos, Carolina: the employees were digging a trench to change the sanitary sewer pipes. The employees that climbed to the excavator arm, to tie the telephone cables because they bothers the movement of the excavator arm. Among other methods to correct this hazardis, to give to the employees a fall protection training as established in the standard 1926.503(a). Empleados expuestos al riesgo de caer del brazo de la excavadora. En Cidra Excavations, localizado en la calle Pedro Arzuaga Esquina Fernanndez Juncos, Carolina: los empleados estaban excavando una trinchera para cambiar tuberia de alcantarillado sanitaria. El empleado que trepo al brazo de la excavadora para amarrar unos cables de telefono porque molestaban el movimiento del brazo de la excavadora. Entre los metodos para corregir este riesgo es, darle a los empleados un adiestramiento en proteccion contra caida como lo establece la norma 1926.503(a).
