Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees were exposed to serious eyes injuries due to chemical splash. When the employees doing works charging the batteries of the airplanes, the employer did not provide the eyewash facility in this area. At Tol Air Service, localizado en la Carr. Central Sector 560 Muniz Base, Carolina. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is provide an eyewash facility to this area. Los empleados estuvieron expuestos a lesiones serias en los ojos debido a salpicaduras por los quimicos. Cuando los empleados estaban realizando trabajos cargando las baterias de los aviones, el patrono no proveyo una facilidad de lavado de ojos en esa area. En Tol Air Service, localizado en la Carr. Sector Central 560 Base Muniz, Carolina. Entre otros metodos, un metodo apropiado y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es proveer una facilidad de lavado de ojos en esa area.
