Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: Employees were exposed to injuries due to the cabinets that divide each sanitary system that were disarranged. At Municipio de Carolina, at the Departamento de Bomberos Municipal, where the employees were doing administrative duties, it was observed the following: a.) At the men sanitary service, where the employees do their biological neccessities, the cabinets were disarranged. b.) At the ladies sanitary service, where the employees do their biological neccessities, the cabinets were disarranged. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is fitting and restoring each one of the cabinets. Empleados estuvieron expuestos a golpes y contusiones debido a que los cubiculos que dividen cada uno de los sistemas sanitarios estaban desajustados. En el Municipio de Carolina, en el Departamento de Bomberos Municipal, donde los empleados realizaban sus tareas administrativas, se observo lo siguiente: a.) En el bano de caballeros, donde los empleados realizan sus necesidades biologicas, los cubiculos estan desajustados. b.) En el bano de damas, donde los empleados realizan sus necesidades biologicas, los cubiculos estan desajustados. Entre otros metodos de correccion, uno factible y aceptable es ajustar y reparar cada uno de los cubiculos.
