Employer knew or should have known that employees erecting metal plate connected wood truss at east side of drive through area of building in excess of 11 feet high were exposed to the hazard of the truss toppling and falling to the ground below due to only 3 total braces being used as temporary bracing. A feasible and useful method to correct this hazard, among other methods, is to follow the instructions and recommendations in the HIB- 91 Summary Sheet - Commentary and Recommendations for handling, installing, and bracing metal plate connected wood trusses or equivalent and use bracing such as, but not limited to 5 properly configured ground braces.
