(a)  The Globe air hydraulic lift located in the #4 bay of
automotive repair shop was not permanently and legibly marked to
show the rated load capacity, model, and serial number.
One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to
correct this hazard is to adhere to the requirements set forth in
ANSI B153.1-1990 Section 6.2 that states: " The lift shall be
permanently marked to show the manufacturer's name, rated load
capacity, model, and serial number.",

One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to
correct this hazard is to adhere to the requirements set forth in
ANSI B153.1-1990 Section 7.2.1 that states: " The owner, user, or
employer shall display the operating instructions in a conspicuous
place in the lift area."
