North Carolina General Statute 95-129 (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Vipros punch press #357, employees climbing atop press were not provide with fall protection. (b)Iron phosphate wash machine, employees climbing atop machine were not provided with fall protection. Note:Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to provide employee with a harness and lanyard and a point to attach.
