FMCSM 393.75(c):  Except as provided in paragraph (b) of this section,

shall have a tread groove pattern depth of at least 2/32 of an inch when
measure
in a major tread groove.
Note:Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this hazard is to replace the tire with one that meets the
regulation.
