North Carolina General Statute 95-129 (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: ref:ANSI B30.16-1.2-1981: Each control actuator of an electric or air powered hoist shall be marked to indicate the direction of resultant motion. (a)floor molding area, crane control actuator used by employees was not marked to indicate direction. Note: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is replace the missing directional covers.
