Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: The following grease racks have defective safety catches which results in the brakes not locking, exposing employees engaged in lubrication and tire changing operations to the hazard of falling automobiles and/or trucks: a) Grease Rack #l b) Grease Rack #2 Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement to correct the hazards is to replace the safety catches by a qualified lift service. ***Certification and Documentation of Abatement Required***on
