North Carolina General Statue 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to: Falling objects from construction activities on scaffolding at the facility. a)Facility, front entrance - No limited access zone or alternate means of entry/egress from the facility had been established to protect employees from the hazard of construction material falling from scaffolding at the main entrance. A reasonable and feasible means of abatement would be to establish a limited access zone or alternate entry/exit point for employees while construction activities were ongoing.es
