Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazards associated with being struck by or crushed by
a heavy framed wall

On or about August 12, 1999, workers received serious injuries when the
approximately two thousand pound framed gable wall, in which they were
physically trying to lift and push into place, fell back and struck some
of the
workers.
One feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to have
a
crane lift the 27 feet by 22 feet framed gable wall into place.
