On or about July 7, 1999, employees working from a Terex Aerials
(self-propelled) at the jobsite
located at 860 N. LaSalle St., Chicago, IL, were exposed to falls due to
the lack of personal fall
arrest equipment.
Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with the American
National Standards
Institute, ANSI A92.5-1992 Standard for Boom-supported Elevating Platforms
and have
employees wear fall arrest equipment anytime that they are in the aerial
lift.
AAA Painting Contractors was previously cited for a violation of this
