NCGS 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: caught in/under/between hazards Complete inspections of the hoist was not performed at intervals defined in ANSI B30.16-1981 Chapter 16-2, article 16-2.1.1(b)(2). a)plant 2, triple spray booth area - overhead hoist used to move and weigh 55-gal. drums of paint had not received an annual inspection. One feasible and acceptable means of abatement, among others, is to perform periodic inspections during the intervals indicated as stipulated in ANSI B30.16-1981, article 16-2.1.3
