North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to: 1)Migrant labor camp sites workers are exposed to live electrical wires as electrical outlets do not have cover plates to prevent contact with electricity. In addition electrical fixture in camp 1 unit 4 needs to be securely attached to ceiling. One acceptable and effective method of abatement is to install electrical cover plates on all outlets and repair light fixture hanging by live electrical wires by securing permanently to ceiling.tly
