Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a crushing hazard by unsecured steel columns: a) Job site 350 Mt. Kimble Ave. Morris Twp. NJ 07960 Employee's were exposed to a crushing hazard while lifting a beam in position and coming into contact with the unsecured steel column and knocking it over into the path of workers below. Violation occurred on or about 08/04/99
