Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: on or about 8/13/98, employees operating a Model B1023C Ford Tractor pulling a Model 910 Rotary Cutter were exposed to the hazards of being struck by the tractor or mower in the event of a tipover. One feasible and acceptable means of abating this condition is to install a rollover protective structure (ROPS) and seat belt in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines.r's
