N.C.G.S. 95-129(1): The Operator/employer did not furnish to each employee conditions of employment and place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to: 1) The owner/operator exposed the migrant occupants to ungrounded refrigerator in the kitchen facilities area. Several methods to correct this problem exists, such as, (a) Replace electrical cord with proper grounding pin attached. (b) Install GFCI electrical wall plug to the refrigerator cord. (c) Install grounding wire to frame of refrigerator to grounding rod on exterior grounds, installed 8 feet into the ground.

N.C.G.S. 95-129(1): The Operator/employer did not furnish to each employee conditions of employment and place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that the employees were exposed to: 1) Ceiling electric light outlet box with exposed live electrical wires hanging down 6 inches loose. One method of abatement, would be to install approved electrical wire nuts on both the positive and negative wire ends and cover exposed junction box with an approved electrical cover plate.
