North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were lifted without a personnel platform and exposed to falls in excess of 25' Reference ANSI/SIA A92.2-1990, Section 10.2!: a)site - employee lift to top of 28 foot building using Skyhook (65-5665-86 Ottawa KS) aerial lift and a Penco MDLox Vertico Chocke Basket sling (13200, 2500, U6400, type: nylon 2 inches wide and 9 feet long). One method of abatement is to have the employee use the attached ladder on the skyhook aerial lift.
