SCRR 71-112A: Failed to furnish a place of employment which is free of recognized hazards which may cause death or serious physical harm to his employees and comply with this regulation and other occupational safety and health rules and regulations promulgated under Chapter 15 of Title 41, Code of Laws, State of South Carolina, 1976, as amended, as follows: A. Employer knew or should have known that employees working or walking behind transport truck International tag #700671 with trailer tag number TL50395 being backed up with view to the rear obstructed and no back up alarm and no observer used were exposed to the hazard of being backed over. A feasible and useful method, among others, to correct this hazard is to install a back up alarm or use an observer. B. Employer knew or should have known that employees working or walking behind transport truck autocar number 042980 with trailer number 12778 being backed up with the view obstructed to the rear and no backup alarm and no observer used, were exposed to the hazard of being backed over. A feasible and useful method to correct this hazard, among other methods is to install a backup alarm or use an observer.
