Condition:Employees place three 2" by 6" by 10'
unsecured, overlapping and unguarded planks
across the guardrail system of a scissor lift
and worked from the platform while elevated
25' above the ground.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method
to correct this hazard is to forbid employees from erecting
platforms on top the guardrail and require all persons in the lift
to keep their feet placed firmly on the floorboards of the lift.
Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of
programs, training certification, etc.) is required for this
item.red
