Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck by automotive lifts: (a) Automobile Lifts #2,#3,#4 and #5 - Employees were working under automotive lifts that have air pressure leaks and safety locks that are inoperative, exposing employees to being injured due to failure of the lifts to support the load. AMONG OTHER METHODS AND/OR FEASIBLE AND ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF ABATEMENT: (1) Repair or replace air pressure leak downs on all lifts (2) Repair or replace safety locks (3) Replace hydraulic lift with new ones ABATEMENT VERIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
