furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment
which were free from
recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious
physical harm to
employees in that employees were exposed to an LP Gas explosion:
(a) Gel Area - Open flame burners were being used without an automatic
device to shut
off the flow of gas to the burners in the event of the flame being
extinguished.
A feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to install approved
automatic shut off
devices to stop the flow of gas when the flame is extinguished.
