1.Provide the rated load on any custom made lifting device.
2.Design the lifting device to withstand the forces imposed by its rated
load with
a minimum design factor of 3.
3.Provide initial, frequent, and periodic inspections of the lifting
devices.
4.Ensure that initial proof testing of 125of the rated load was
conducted.
