Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were working in a work zone without traffic control warning signs posted. Lisle jobsite/pole #65943 - Employees worked on the side of the road without traffic warning signs posted. Among feasible means of abatement would be to comply with ComEd's Work Area Protection Guide, and the Uniform Manual of Traffic Control. NO CERTIFICATION OR DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
