Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees - in that employees were exposed to the hazard of falling blocks, Pisa II, while building a retaining wall. Among feasible methods of abatement is to comply with the manufacturer's (Unilock) installation procedure to back fill after every one or two rows of block. NO DOCUMENTATION OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM.
