employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard:
The function labels were not legible on the pendant control station
for electric powered hoist ref. ANSI B30.16-1981 Sec. 16-
2.3.3(c)(7)!:
a)surface finishing department - 480 lb. capacity, 480
volt, DEMAG electric chain hoist, used to load 65 lb.
spools of body cloth into storage racks.
One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among
others, to correct this hazard is to label the function
controls on the pendant control station.
