North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish to
each of his employees  conditions of employment and a place of
employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely
to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that
employees were exposed to:
1)Employer Mr. Lynwood Johnson failed to provide to each of
his employees a place of employment wherein employees
were not exposed to live electrical parts.  At Mr.
Lynwood Johnson's temporary labor camp workers were
exposed to daily to live electrical parts in the bedroom
as an outlet plate was not installed and in the kitchen
as electrical power to the trailer was supplied through
an extension cord  attached to a multi outlet surge
protector.
One acceptable and reasonable method of abatement is to
repair electrical system in the house and have electrical
service supplied through the local power company and
install outlet plate in sleeping area as discussed. Prior
to electrical power supply establishment all local
inspection agencies should be notified and shall approve
such electrical service.
