North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety
and Health Act of North Carolina:  The employer did not furnish to
each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of
employment which were free from recognized hazards that were
causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees:
a) facility; black oxide room - crane systems with budgit 1
ton hoists have not been load tested
b) facility; nickel room - crane systems with budgit 1 ton
hoists have not been load tested
c) facility; rack/zinc #2 room - crane systems with budgit
1 ton hoists and Jessup engineered hoists have not been
load tested.
d) facility; barrell zinc #2/Nickel #2 room - crane systems
with budgit 1 ton hoists have not been load tested.
e) facility; Big Jessup Line - crane systems with budgit 1
ton hoists, 1/2 ton CM hoists, and Jessup engineered
hoists have not been load tested.
Reference:  ANSI B30.11 - 1980 section 11-2.2.2 (a) prior to
initial use, all new, extensively repaired, and altered
equipment should be tested ....
NOTE:  Among means of abatement, one feasible means of
abatement is to have the crane systems load tested.

Reference:  ANSI B30.11 - 1980 section 11-2.1.1 (a) prior to
initial use, all new, altered, modified, or extensively
repaired cranes and monorail systems shall be inspected..as
per paragraph (b) inspections shall be conducted on a frequent
and periodic basis.
NOTE:  Among means of abatement, one feasible means of
abatement is to have the crane systems inspected on a frequent
and periodic basis
