overhead hoist, Serial Number W318619A, and a North American overhead
hoist, Serial Number 18774, had no maintenance records since 1998, to
indicate annual or more frequent inspections.
Among other methods, feasible and acceptable abatement methods to correct
this
hazard are to:
1.Conduct frequent and periodic inspections of all hoisting equipment.
2.Maintain dated inspection reports or comparable records on critical items
such as hoisting machinery and other lifting devices in accordance with
ANSI
B30.16-1987, Chapter 16-2.er
