Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to:fall from an aerial lift basket without the benefit of wearing a body belt with lanyard attached to the boom or basket. (a) Worksite,Route 112 Port Jefferson,two employees were operating and raising a Snorkel Lift Model 60H,serial # 016705 approximately 12 feet in the air without the use of a body belt and lanyard. On or about 11/08/00.
