Section 5 (a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of falling: (a) At the Job-Site/Two employees were observed 14 ft high riding the forks of a Lull. Model#0145 Highlander,SNDbG4E6-142. On or about 03/21/01. ABATEMENT NOTES: a)Train employees in the proper procedures when elevating personnel on the forks of a rough terrain vehicle,and b)Provide the required personnel lifting platform when elevating employees ont the forks of a rough terrain vehicle. AS REQUIRES BY ANSI B56.6B-1990 ABATEMENT VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED AS OUTLINED IN PART 29 CFR 1903.19
