Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a tipover/crushing hazard. a) 102 Carnegie Center, Princeton, NJ 08540 - The employer did not develop and implement a training program for operators of scissors lifts. On or about 09/28/00. ABATEMENT NOTE: One feasible abatement method is for the employer is to develop and implement a training program for scissors lift operators that complies with ANSI A92.6 1910, Section 6.10. NOTE:ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM. Attached form or equivalent must be submitted. See page 2,"Notification of Corrective Action" for instructions.
