from a makeshift platform that was supported between two scissor lifts:
a)Jobsite, 250 Oak Ridge Rd:  Employees were working on a makeshift
platform
that was supported between a Barecat Economy BC2132 scissor lift and a
Skyjack
B241F scissor lift. Employees were exposed to the hazards of a fall from an
elevation in excess of 12 feet, on or about 8/2/2000.
ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement
method
to correct this hazard is to utilize a lift that is capable of reaching
the required working height
and is approved for the purpose by the lift manufacturer.
