Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not
furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from
recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to
employees in that employees
were exposed to the hazards of a fall from an elevation in excess of 19
feet:
a)Side Of Building:  Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 19'
as they
stood on the railings of a Sky Jack Model #7027 scissor lift, on or about
9/7/00.
ABATEMENT NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement
method
to correct this hazard would be to insure the employees stand firmly on
the floor of the lift as
described in ANSI 92.6 1979 Section 14.2.6.
