North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: (Ref: Operator's Manual John Deere 750B and 850B Crawler Tractor (Identification No. 731274) page 05-10 and 25-1 a)site, Harnett County NE landfill - the employer failed to require employees to wear seat-belts while operating John Deere 850-B Crawler Tractor equipped with roll over protection. One feasible and acceptable abatement method is to implement a disciplinary program for employees that do not follow safety rules.
