North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility; glass line 1 - monorail system with a Coffing 1 ton hoist has not been load tested. Reference: ANSI B30.11 - 1980; paragraph 11-2.2.2(a) Rated load test - Prior to initial use, all new, extensively repaired and altered equipment should be tested... NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to load test the monorail system.l

North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a)facility; glass line 1 - monorail system with a Coffing 1 ton hoist has not had initial inspection Reference: ANSI B30.11 - 1980; paragraph 11-2.1.1(a) Initial inspection - Prior to initial use, all new, altered, modified, or extensivley repaired cranes and monorail systems shall be inspected. NOTE: Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard is to have the monorail system initially inspected.
